Terrible loss with Providence yesterday considering they were covering the entire game, only to blow the cover in the last 15 seconds of the game and missing the cover by half a point. Very disappointing to say the least.
Detroit on the other hand, was a bad call. I really didn’t expect a blowout. I’m still trying to get a feel for the crazy scheduling in the NBA since it’s a short season. I’ll get it right soon enough (at least I hope!).
Thanks to West Virginia taking care of business, we had some damage control from the terrible hoops day. I don’t think anyone expected West Virginia to lay that bad of a beating on Clemson…no complaints here though! I always feel real good about my play(s) when I see Brandon Lang on the other side. That guy is truly a joke. That’s probably an understatement.

Solid day yesterday picking up 6 units with a 3-0 sweep in college basketball. Unfortunately we pushed on Virginia Tech +3 which quite honestly, I thought I was going to hit too. I was tempted to hit VT 2nd half essentially getting half a point value on the game spread but decided to just stick with my original wager as I didn’t want to press considering I had a few NBA plays going (didn’t post in time, won’t count on record) that were still up in the air. Oh well, we’ll get em next time.

Like the Fighting Irish today for a couple of reasons.
For the most part, the only team that has beat Notre Dame is Notre Dame. They have really self destructed in the Red Zone against the good teams this season. As think back to their loses:
South Florida–red zone destruction, lightning postponed, bizzarre game they gave
Michigan–BCS team, last 2nd miracle, moved the ball up and down the field on GOOD defense!
USC–Would be BCS team, self destructed with some crazy plays
Stanford–think they just got beat by a better team
All this adds up to Brian Kelly kicking their ass for a month, getting 2 QB’s ready to move the ball on FSU. FSU has to stop this 2 pronged attack and it won’t be easy.
FSU offensively make Ohio States offense look like Oregon’s……they are piss poor and ND’s defense has kept them in many games and have been put in some tough situation.
All this leads to Notre Dame covering the 3.5 and probably winning straight up. Good luck!

My apologies for the long hiatus. Most of my time has been swallowed up by work and haven’t had the chance to update the site. I’ve still been making plays and doing fairly well. Of course I won’t count that on my record since I never posted the plays.
Since being gone, we’ve had a good amount of college hoops and now the NBA has begun which is fantastic as I love hoops. Looking forward to sharing my plays with everyone and hopefully we’ll have a profitable season in both the NBA and college. Oh yeah, we still have plenty of good bowl games left!
